A stylish stylus!
Posted: July 4th, 2012 by Desmond Torr
Our IT Support team frequently receive questions about tablets and accessories, and until now we have been stumped when people ask us for advice on purchasing a stylus for note taking and drawing. Given the plethora of drawing and note taking applications available for the iPad, it’s surprising how few decent options there are when it comes to choosing a stylus.
Of course, it’s not that there aren’t any options on the market – there are several! But most of them are so thick that it’s easier to write or draw with your finger! And many of them only seem to work with the stylus held perfectly vertical. Of course, that is far from ideal and it makes effective note taking and drawing very difficult indeed.
That’s why we were pleased when one of our customers (yes, we learn from our customers all the time!) introduced us to the Pogo Sketch Pro, from Ten1 design. It’s by far the slimmest, sexiest and most useful stylus that we’ve found for the iPad. Combine it with a note taking app like Notability, Inkflow, or Bamboo Paper, and you’ll be drawing and taking notes with ease.
Now, if only it could actually teach us to draw…
