There’s no ‘one size fits all’ at Cyberlogic. It depends largely on which team you would like to be a part of. Our cyber security team, for example, all hold relevant certifications and cyber security experience. For specifics about the requirements for any particular role, please review the role description, or reach out to our Talent team.
We consider candidate profiles in their entirety. Whilst academic performance is important, a candidate’s work experience and how they will contribute to our culture are equally important. Specific criteria in terms of qualifications and experience will be outlined on a role-by-role basis. Please review the role description or reach out to our Talent team.

Typically the recruitment process takes 2 to 4 weeks, depending on candidate and interviewer availability. The process starts with an exploratory call to ensure a high-level fit for the role. Candidates are then asked to complete a technical case study. Depending on the role being recruited for, this can be done in an interview or prepared ahead of time and submitted to the panel for review. Successful candidates then go into a ‘role fit’ interview, during which the candidate’s suitability for the role is probed further. Thereafter we conduct psychometric testing and candidates will have an opportunity to explore the Cyberlogic culture more fully to ensure personal and values alignment. Thereafter, reference check and successful candidates are presented with an offer.

We are a ‘remote first’ organisation, which means we offer our people the opportunity to work from home as needed. We also provide access to offices in Stellenbosch and Johannesburg, giving our people flexibility in their work model.

Our culture is grounded in our go4growth model, which is based on four fundamentals: empowered leadership, goal setting, feedback, and recognition and reward. We use the OKR (objectives and key results) framework rather than KPIs for setting and tracking progress towards goals. We believe that with KPIs many of the measures for individual success are outside the individual’s control and because of this we recognise and reward contribution throughout the growth cycle, not only outcomes. We believe feedback is key to personal and professional growth and encourage everyone to give and receive feedback constructively.

There is also an optional pension benefit available which we encourage our people to participate in. We also have bursary options available for relevant qualifying courses and certifications. These are evaluated on a case-by-case basis in consultation with the accountable business leader.
